The Lagos State Authorities has introduced a 15-month site visitors diversion at Mile 2 for the development of the brand new Transport Interchange Terminal.
The State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, stated this in a press release yesterday in Lagos. Osiyemi famous that the diversion would combine rail, bus, water and non–motorized transportation.
He stated the 15-month site visitors diversion for the development would start on Nov. 11, to Feb. 16, 2026. Osiyemi, nevertheless, enjoined motorists to make use of various routes.
“Motorists heading to Oshodi from Apapa could have a via site visitors and vice versa. “Motorists heading to Badagry from Apapa will proceed their journey on Apapa – Oshodi Expressway and take a flip into Akinwande Highway to hyperlink Coker and entry Lagos – Badagry Categorical Approach to proceed their journeys.
“Motorists heading to Lagos from Badagry may also have a via site visitors and vice versa.
“Motorists heading to Apapa will probably be diverted into Durban Highway to hyperlink Amuwo Odofin Property and join Apapa-Oshodi Categorical Approach to proceed their journeys,” he stated. He assured that the diversion routes had been effectively marked with indicators to help motorists navigate their locations.
