The Cybercrime and Narcotics Division of the Benue State Police Command has arrested 5 suspects in reference to a case of impersonation and acquiring below false pretense.
The suspects embody; Kwaghaondo John ‘m’ 21yrs, Sunday Dominic ‘m’ 20yrs, Uaan Aondowase Michael ‘m’ 21yrs, Isaac Akpagher ‘m’ 18yrs and Suleiman Lawal ‘m’ 20yrs.
The operatives performed a radical investigation following an intelligence gathered about cyber criminals and subsequently apprehended the suspects.
Displays recovered from them embody; three iphones, one small tecno telephone and two different smartphones.
Additional investigations, in line with the Command’s spokesperson Catherine Sewuese Anene in a press release
revealed that the suspects have beforehand been engaged in impersonating folks and utilizing their identities to defraud unsuspecting individuals of their belongings.
