The Oyo State Police Command on Tuesday arrested and arraigned a 21-year-old Isah Faruq, earlier than an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Courtroom in Ibadan, for allegedly stealing cables price N700,000.
Faruq was charged with conspiracy and stealing, to which he pleaded not responsible.
The Prosecutor, Insp Toyin Ibrahim, instructed the court docket that the defendant dedicated the offences on Thursday, October 24, at about 4:00 p.m., at Idi-Ayunre space, Ibadan.

In line with Ibrahim, the defendant and others at giant conspired to steal transformer and meter cables price N700,000 allegedly belonging to at least one Jeffrey Ogbaide.
Delivering the judgement, the Justice of the Peace, Mrs Kausarat Ayofe, granted the defendant bail within the sum of N100,000 and two dependable sureties in like sum.
The case is adjourned till Jan. 22, 2025, for a listening to.
