    NDLEA intercepts tramadol, hashish price N16.6 billion at Lagos, Port Harcourt ports

    Nationwide Drug Legislation Enforcement Company (NDLEA) has introduced the interception of illicit medication price an estimated N16.6 billion in road worth throughout coordinated operations at Lagos and Port Harcourt ports.

    The NDLEA disclosed that these operations had been carried out in collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and different safety businesses, who joined NDLEA officers for a complete examination of containers flagged for inspection at each ports.

    In response to a press release by the company, “ a complete of Twenty Six Million Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand (26,250,000) capsules of tramadol, in addition to 5 Hundred and Eight Thousand 4 Hundred (508,400) bottles of codeine-based syrup price Sixteen Billion Six Hundred and Eighty-Three Million Eight Hundred Thousand Naira (N16, 683, 800,000) in road worth, had been intercepted by NDLEA operatives throughout 100 per cent joint examination of watch-listed containers with males of Customs Service and different safety businesses on the Tincan port in Lagos and Port Harcourt port, Onne, Rivers state”
