Abbas Tajudeen led a delegation of MPs to condole with the people and government of the state over the tragic incident that occurred on October 15, 2024. “The House is committed to finding solutions to other important issues that particularly affected our area. We stand with you in supporting the victims of this tragedy.”

Nairametrics reports that following the incident the President reiterated his order to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to intensify measures against night driving such as increased patrols, stricter safety enforcement and other safety mechanisms on highways.
