Gunmen have kidnapped one Mr Emeason Chima, an official of the Federal Highway Security Corps (FRSC), in Enugu State. Mr Chima was kidnapped close to Maduka College in Ekwegbe, whereas driving alone in his automobile.
The abductors are reportedly demanding N50 million as ransom for his launch, as confirmed by a senior FRSC official who requested anonymity In response to an inside memo from Emmanuel AlHassan, the commander of the Ugbokolo unit, the kidnapping occurred after Maduka College on the Nsukka-Enugu Highway.
The abductors contacted the unit commander utilizing Chima’s cellphone to relay their ransom demand. The memo states: “The Command is in receipt of details about the kidnap of SRMA Emeason Chima.
